Major musical recording artists, of days gone by, should remember that playing the "small" towns can net profits. Doors'z Ray Manzarek/Robby Krieger tix: ~$80per. Enjoyment of show ensues. Customer remembers great albums. Citizen now realizes buying CD is WAY easier than digitizing vinyl. Poof! Two-ish more CD sales. Happy netizen spreads the word, "Hey, remember being in a great space with these guys back when everybody was young?" Ba-DANG! Average ~$17.50 a disk. The stuff you held back from iTunes? DA-bang-BANG, eBay baybay. Follow the tree, trickle back and you got over a hundred bucks per satisfied/inspired/glorifying custizen.
Less fees, of course.
But still.
